Anak Lelaki Najib Dikatakan Membuat Kacau di Kelab Malam Zouk Singapore?

Son of Malaysian prime minister allegedly cuts Aly & Fila DJ set at Zouk so that he can perform

The night took a disappointing turn for patrons of Zouk Singapore when Fadi of Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila was reportedly forced to end his set early to make way for the son of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak

The incident, which happened on Saturday night, started when Norashman Najib allegedly requested for Fadi's set to be cut short so that he could play instead, despite not being in the
Fadi, who is a respected figure among the trance community and a regular fixture at Zouk Singapore, announced that he "won't play for Zouk anymore" before playing his last track and stepping off the deck

The video above, posted on 6 March, has already accumulated more than 82,000 views.

In the video, Fadi said, "It seems that Zouk here wants someone else to play. Not only because of that, because apparently he's the son of a prime minister.

Thank you so much, enjoy my last track. I'll see you somewhere in the future. Not in Zouk anymore, because I won't play in Zouk any f***ing more. They've insulted me, but I love you guys."

Allegedly, Norashman Najib — the son of Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak — used his VVIP power to cut short Fadi's set. Why you may ask? Oh, because he apparently wanted to play his own DJ set. Yes, a prime minister's son wanted his own 15 minutes of fame, so he kicked out an actual professional (#42 on DJ Mag's top 100 DJs last year) from his own showcase.

"...it seems that Zouk here wants someone else to play. Not only because of that! Because apparently he's the son of a prime minister," Fadi says to his dismayed audience in captured footage of that night.

"Thank you so much, enjoy my last track. I'll see you somewhere in the future. Not in Zouk anymore! Because I won't play in Zouk any-fucking-more," he declared. "They've insulted me, but I love you guys."

Zouk Singapore hasn't confirmed if it is indeed true — but if it is, man what a fucking dick move. This would be the first sign of trouble for Zouk, who were recently absorbed under Malaysian conglomerate Genting Group. Considering that fact, it's not such a far-fetched idea that the son of the Malaysian prime minister could hold such sway over Singapore's premier nightlife destination. If the once-revered stronghold are showing cracks in their management already, then it seems that Zouk's goal to get into the top spot of DJ Mag's annual rankings won't be coming true after all.
